STORY: I flew out from the Denver area to California to meet with Mike McGuire in person to discuss the build - Mike said; "Man, you didn't have to fly here. We could have just talked over the phone to get this done." I told him I wanted to speak with him in person because I wanted him to know I was serious about having a quality instrument made - He just smiled and said Ok then - We had a great conversion and he was so helpful and understanding of my lack of guitar knowledge - I waned to use the best parts I could but he let me know the wood I was requesting didn't come in very often so I said not to build it until it did. I didn't care how long I had to wait and... if the price of the project went up because of time, I would be happy to pay more - He smiled again, shook his yes and said OK. - About 3 months later, I shipped Mr. McGuire a flight case and he shipped the guitar to me - Absolutely amazing - I now owned a guitar that would not be the limiting factor in my potential as a player - If there was something I was failing at, I couldn't blame the guitar anymore.
